Full Renovation & Extensions to Family House
This semi detached house was no longer fit for purpose. Small individual rooms, dark dead spaces which were under utilized. This growing young family needed something more. DW Architects where engaged to provide full Architectural services for works including, energy upgrade, single and two story extensions to side and rear, an attic conversion with Dormer roof extensions.
This North facing rear garden dwelling had dark cramped living spaces, the finished design provided open plan living / kitchen / dining areas with an emphasis on family engagement. A snug living room and study was also included to allow the growing kids and adults separate spaces and room to breath.
A full energy upgrade, including new high efficiency boiler, dry lining insulation and quality detailing of new extensions led to a BER certification of B3 being applied to the house.
