Deep Retrofit, Energy Upgrade and Substantial Extensions
DWA were appointed to this project to provide Architectural design services for a growing young family. The existing dwelling had a poor BER certification of D3. The home was no longer fit for purpose.
DW Architects, following a detail development of the briefing requirements with the client proceeded to design for work that included a deep energy upgrade works to the existing house, which also required layout alterations and substantial single and two story extensions to provide the spaces which would service the family now and into the future.
The works were completed with great success, the house works increased the house to an air tight BER A3 rating, a cosy home for this young family providing for their needs as they grow together.
